The Business Development, Marketing and Communications department plays a key role in enhancing our reputation for excellence and innovation at Allen & Overy. We use Elite 3E, a new, leading-edge, financial software solution designed specifically for law firms. It enables us to manage our new business intake, billings, collections, payments and management reporting efficiently. It allows us to ensure consistent processes and controls throughout the firm. It helps us to deliver excellent service to our internal and external clients. Work for us, and you’re working as part of a truly global finance function. Legal PAs
The PA support is an increasingly sophisticated and demanding role, requiring greater use of technology and a wide range of skills. We recruit legal PAs into all areas of Allen & Overy.

Library and Information

Information services are integral to the firm's knowledge strategy. We look for innovative, resourceful individuals, committed to the provision and exchange of knowledge and information. The work is rewarding and there are excellent career development opportunities.
The team encompasses all aspects of the information profession – producing bespoke research pieces, delivering authoritative training, responding to legal and business queries and managing the extensive hard copy needs of our lawyers.

Innovation
We’re the only law firm to have featured in the top three of the Financial Times Innovative Law Firm ranking every year, and to have topped the list six times.
We’re determined not just to be at the forefront of developments, but to set the pace and lead the way. We have created Fuse, our tech innovation incubator based in our London office, designed to bring forward-thinking tech companies together with clients and A&O experts. We’re creating solutions to some of the most intractable challenges faced by companies, financial institutions and law firms today.
In Paris, we have created an innovation committee called LegalTech Paris. Composed of seven permanent members, it drives the internal use of new technological tools, and holds targeted meetings and events for our clients on these topics.

Learning & development
We're passionate about providing top-quality training and development for all our people. Our aim is to constantly grow as a leading global law firm and our people are key to achieving this goal. Its aim is to provide our business teams globally with the leadership, management and business skills needed to succeed and reach their full potential. The programmes are delivered by a mix of internal and external facilitators, these programmes are specifically tailored to the every-day work reality and challenges of business teams at A&O.
The Academy can be joined at any point in your career, from foundation, through advanced and up to mastery level. Many of the programmes are offered on a regional basis to enable everyone globally to attend and network with their peers from other offices.
Coaching & mentoring
Maternity and paternity coaching
we provide all our employees and associates with the occasion to receive coaching sessions. The objective is to advise them on how to efficiently manage the impact of their personal life change (following maternity or paternity leave) on their working life.
Mentoring
this program seeks to create a unique and close relationship between an employee and a manager, by helping to his personal and professional development.
Springboard
this is a training program for women's talents designed to encourage and accelerate their career development in our firm. During 4 days they work on the work/life balance, how to progress with assertiveness and how to develop their career.

Your remuneration package includes a fixed remuneration, a variable remuneration defined according to the individual's performance, a profit-sharing bonus, the health insurance scheme and provident scheme coverage at 100% by the firm, the additional pension for managers, which is 200% funded by the firm.
