Our Belfast Office
In November 2011 the Belfast Support Services Centre (SSC) was launched to deliver core internal business support across IT, HR, Finance, Business Services, Marketing and Risk. Alongside this the Advanced Delivery Legal (ADL) team was also launched in Belfast to focus on harnessing digital technology and alternative resourcing models to provide legal support to our clients across the globe. The Belfast office is now the second largest office in the A&O network, with over 700 employees working across our SSC and ADL teams.

Legal Professionals are provided with an extensive induction training program, completing an intensive Business Law and Practice programme designed and delivered in Belfast by the University of Law.
Apprentices benefit from the opportunity to immerse themselves in our culture while they study and grow. Alongside on the job training our apprentices also complete professional qualifications through Belfast Metropolitan College and Ulster University.

Working environment
Allen & Overy's Belfast office is located in the redeveloped Donegall Quay area within easy reach of the centre of the city with fantastic views over the river.
At A&O Belfast, it is not all work, no play. Socially, the Belfast office hosts monthly drinks, quiz nights and other events. In recent years, the office has also entered teams in the local tag rugby spring and summer leagues and the Belfast marathon.
