Happy birthday, GDPR – five lessons from five years of EU data protection law
The second TechSonar report highlights the technologies considered to be of importance in the field of personal data protection. The update has been supported by a proof-of-concept analysis tool that assists information collection and analysis of academic papers, patents and projects funded by the EU in relation to the selected technologies.
Key technologies highlighted by the report include:
- fake news detection systems;
- Metaverse;
- synthetic data;
- federated learning; and
- central bank digital currency.
