Susan, a US citizen, advises international groups on restructuring operations (with and without a social plan) and sensitive individual and collective disputes in France.

She has extensive experience in negotiating settlement packages with high-earning directors, executives and senior employees.

She brings her pragmatic knowledge and expertise to serve clients’ needs, especially in complex French employment matters, such as working time, management compensation package, incentive and profit sharing plans, etc.

Susan also regularly advises large international groups on French works council/CSE consultation procedures in the framework of mergers, acquisitions, business divestments and changes in company structure.

She publishes articles on various employment matters. She writes for the Employment Talk blog published by A&O Shearman and co-writes articles with Claire Toumieux (head of the employment practice at A&O Shearman Paris) for the European Employment Law Cases (EELC).
