Rachel is a senior associate in A&O Shearman’s Advanced Delivery Legal team.

Rachel has a range of experience, in particular, advising clients in the energy and construction sectors in international arbitrations.

Rachel represented a subsidiary of a large natural gas company in an ICC arbitration relating to the construction of a gas pipeline. Rachel represented a major LNG production company in an ICC arbitration in its defence of claims brought by, and counter-claims against its former EPC Contractor regarding the construction of a LNG plant. Rachel also represented a large chemical and refining company in its claims against a former EPC Contractor under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.

Rachel is currently representing an international hydrocarbon exploration and production company in respect of claims arising out of the delayed and defective construction of an FPSO. Rachel is also representing the operator of a major gas pipeline in respect of claims arising out of defects.
