Mateusz advises both buyers and sellers on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, from due diligence and negotiations to closing and post-closing matters. 
He also assists clients with complex intra-group restructurings, corporate governance issues and general corporate and commercial matters. He has broad sectoral expertise, having worked with clients from private equity, technology, energy, food and beverage, and real estate industries.

Innova Capital on its acquisition of a minority stake in CloudFerro, a leading provider of cloud services to the European space sector.

Maspex Group, the largest private company in the food industry in Poland, on its acquisition of the Becherovka brand and related assets from Pernod Ricard.

EDF Renewables on its acquisition of a 50MW battery energy storage project in Poland, one of the first projects of its kind in Poland.

NetEase, a leading internet tech company based in China, on its investment in Rebel Wolves, a newly established game development studio.

Pro bono

Advising war refugees from Ukraine on various legal issues, ranging from immigration law to different aspects of Polish law, in refugee centers as part of the European Lawyers in Lesvos (ELIL) organization.

Advising the Foundation "Święty Mikołaj dla Seniora" on how to obtain the status of a public benefit institution and comply with the legal requirements for its charitable activities, such as organizing a campaign that provided a Christmas Eve meal for 5,000 disadvantaged seniors, with the help of volunteers and sponsors.
