Jochem de Kok

Before joining Allen & Overy, he completed the Blue Book Traineeship at the European Commission, DG Competition, where he focussed mainly on State aid law, including fiscal aid. Jochem speaks fluent Chinese, and graduated from the University of Cambridge (LLM, first-class honours) and the University of Groningen (Research LLM, cum laude). He is currently an external PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam, where he writes his PhD thesis on investments screening in the European Union.
