He acts for national and international financial institutions (including investment and private banks), funds, asset and wealth managers (including alternative investment managers and advisors), payment service providers, FinTech companies, insurance companies, and corporate trustees (including trustees to real estate investment trusts).

His practice includes advising on regulated businesses in Hong Kong (both transactional and non-transactional), on-going compliance with regulations, product offering, cross border issues, regulatory corporate governance, anti-money laundering and data privacy.

Prior to joining the firm, Hysan worked in the Investment Products Division at the Securities and Futures Commission and was part of the teams overseeing the open-ended fund companies regime and real estate investment trusts regime.

Hysan is fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
