Guy is a partner in, and head of, our London Derivatives and Structured Finance team.

On the transactional side, Guy has a particular focus on CRT/SRT risk transfer transactions. More broadly, Guy advises on all manner of structured products, including TRS, fund financing, financial guarantees, credit derivatives, risk retention financings, hedging and stock lending/repo.

On the advisory side, Guy’s practice has a particular focus on issues relating to the Financial Collateral regime and regulatory capital. He is the author of a number of industry and client-specific legal opinions on netting, insolvency and collateral enforceability. He has led on numerous matters relating to banks  implementation of Initial Margin and was the lead English lawyer advising ISDA on the updated Phase 1 Initial Margin Credit Support documentation resulting from the WGMR initiative.
