David is our Middle East Head of Corporate and is based in our Dubai office. David specialises in M&A transactions (both domestic and cross-border), including public takeovers, private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and strategic investments.
He acts for a wide range of clients, including corporates, financial sponsors, investment funds and government entities. David has worked in the London and Dubai offices of Allen & Overy LLP and has been based in Dubai since 2008.
In the Chambers Global 2023 directories, David is ranked for Corporate/M&A in the UAE and the Middle East. In the Legal 500 2022 rankings, David is recognised as a “Leading Individual” for Commercial, Corporate and M&A in the UAE. In the IFLR1000 2022 rankings, David is recognised as a “Market Leader” for M&A in the UAE.
