Charles has experience in domestic and international financings, including leveraged, acquisition, real estate and project finance, particularly in energy (including renewables) and infrastructure.
Charles is an expert in capital markets financings, including debt programmes, hybrid capital and equity-linked issues. His clients include financial institutions, private equity and infrastructure funds, public and governmental bodies, corporate borrowers and issuers. His practice focuses on Spain and Portugal, and he also advises Iberian clients in emerging markets. He has over 20 years' experience in the Iberian market, having previously worked in the London office.
