Bartosz has over 20 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency. He has played a prominent role in many of the largest and most complex restructuring and bankruptcy cases in Poland.
His work involves both in- and out-of-court restructurings of distressed businesses on behalf of a diverse range of clients. He is repeatedly retained by banks and other major secured creditors and bondholders. He regularly represents financial institutions acquiring control positions in financially distressed companies. Bartosz also acts for investors seeking to provide new money financing or to acquire the assets or businesses of financially troubled companies. In addition to his work for creditors and investors, Bartosz has extensive experience in acting for sponsors across various sectors and jurisdictions, helping them to protect and enhance their interests in restructuring and insolvency scenarios. He assists sponsors with negotiating and implementing debt restructuring plans, providing equity injections, securing new financing sources and facilitating asset sales or business transfers.
