The world’s largest trade agreement, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was signed on 15 November 2020, concluding more than 30 rounds of negotiations over eight years. 
The RCEP has attracted significant recent attention as an important step forward in promoting economic integration within the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in light of the economic strain caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the growing importance of data and digital transactions.
