The volume and complexity of the crisis measures adopted in response to the Covid-19 outbreak present an unprecedented set of challenges for the financial sector in Luxembourg.
New measures are taken almost daily and impact a variety of obligations of financial institutions (prudential ratios, organisational rules, conduct of business rules, AML-CTF obligations, etc.). The A&O financial regulatory team provides a roadmap to help financial institutions to optimise their "regulatory management" of the crisis. At the same time, the team identifies potential longer-term impacts of those measures on the Luxembourg financial sector.
