With Covid-19 restrictions around the world affecting the holding of physical bondholder meetings, we explain our analysis and suggested approach to virtual attendance at these meetings by way of telephone or video conference. As a matter of English law, our view is that a "meeting" does not require attendees to be physically present, but can include parties communicating together electronically (i.e. by telephone or, ideally, videoconference).
