The Legal 500 U.S. recognized a total of 20 Allen & Overy U.S. practice areas and 8 U.S.-based partners in its annual guide, Legal 500: United States 2021.
Three A&O practice areas were ranked for the first time:

- Finance: Commercial Lending
- Tax: Financial Products
The following practice areas rose in rankings:
