A&O maintains its position as top legal experts in India

Allen & Overy continues to maintain its market-leading position in India, having recently won four India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) Deal of the Year Awards for deals closed in 2022.

A&O’s India Group has once again been rewarded for its work across its practice areas and has been recognised as being in the forefront of India’s deal making for its work on the following deals.

  1. Adani’s acquisition of Holcim’s stake in Ambuja Cements and ACC – led by Gautam Narasimhan, A&O advised the lenders in relation to the debt financing for the acquisition of Holcim’s Ambuja Cements Limited and ACC Limited, by the Adani Group.
