Allen & Overy Paris advised the banking syndicate, led by HSBC and Natixis and including Barclays, Crédit Agricole CIB and J.P. Morgan, in relation to the issue of EUR500 million subordinated sustainable notes by Abeille Vie.
The EUR500 million 6.250 per cent. notes due 2033 issued by Abeille Vie qualify as Tier 2 regulatory capital at the levels of both Groupe Aéma and the Abeille Vie entity. The notes are also sustainable and provide that Groupe Aéma invests the proceeds of the issue in green and social projects or assets.
The Allen & Overy Paris team was led by Julien Sébastien (partner), with Lorraine Miramond (senior associate) and Marc Ghorayeb (associate) on capital markets aspects.
