Allen & Overy (“A&O”) today announced that David Ingles has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate M&A practice. David joins A&O’s New York office from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP where he served as a partner in its M&A practice in New York.

David brings nearly 30 years of experience providing counsel across transactional matters in a broad range of industry verticals, with particular expertise in the banking, financial services and financial technology sectors. He has advised public and closely held companies and private equity sponsors in the full range of public and private M&A, financing transactions, consortium deals and other complex corporate transactions.

David joins A&O as part of the firm’s continued expansion across all of its practice groups in the U.S. market.  He is the 43rd U.S. lateral partner hire in the last two years.

Prior to Pillsbury, David was a partner in the financial institutions M&A practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
