She has appeared multiple times opposite leading silks and before distinguished tribunals including former House of Lords, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court judges. She also sits as arbitrator.

Kate joined Allen & Overy as counsel in 2013 and became a partner in 2016.

Commenting on her appointment to Queen’s Counsel, Kate said: “I am overwhelmed and honoured to be among the new silks announced this year.

Mark Levy QC, global head of the International Arbitration Group, added: “This is a fantastic achievement. We are all immensely proud of Kate. This appointment won’t be a surprise to anyone who knows or has worked with her. She is an extremely accomplished and able advocate, who is an asset to A&O’s international arbitration group.

“This achievement is also testament to the strength of the arbitration group and the complexity of the cases we argue.”
