Stephan advises on public commercial law, including the relevant constitutional and European aspects.

Stephan advises on administrative and court procedures, on compliance aspects and on transactions.

Stephan regularly advises on permitting and planning law requirements. He has a specific focus on questions relating to state aid and public funding as well as on foreign trade law. He regularly represents clients in FDI screening procedures vis-à-vis the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Stephan’s practice also covers lobbying regulations and legal issues relating to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
