Saranpaal is a technology and digital lawyer, advising extensively on technology, data and IP driven collaborations and joint ventures, large-scale digital transformation projects, data privacy, software development and licensing, cloud computing and general commercial advisory work. Saranpaal also has experience advising on the technology and data aspects of ecommerce and payments, fintech, digital health and insurtech.
He has acted for private sector and government clients on complex, transformative technology transactions across the Asia Pacific region.
Saranpaal has spent 12 months on secondment at the Commonwealth Bank and 6 months at Westpac Bank advising on enterprise-wide digital transformation projects, leading vendor negotiations and advising key business, technology and executive stakeholders.
In 2015, Saranpaal co-founded a technology company that developed a data analytics platform for the aviation industry.
