Nigel specialises in intellectual property, technology and data protection.
He advises on IP, technology and data aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including joint ventures and collaborations, as well as standalone IP and data-rich commercial matters. He has experience in a range of digital projects for clients across a range of sectors, including in the fields of digital health, connected vehicles and digital marketing. His data practice spans all areas of data privacy, including data breaches, international data transfers (including BCRs) and data protection authority investigations. He has extensive experience of complex outsourcing transactions, acting for both customers and suppliers. Nigel is recognised in Chambers UK and Legal 500 UK and was named one of the "Top 40 under 40" data lawyers by Global Data Review. He is the contributing editor of the ICLG cross-border guide on cybersecurity and an editor of A&O's Digital Hub blog.
