Heiner advises on all matters of German and EU competition law and represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission as well as German and European courts. 

His practice focuses on follow-on damages actions, merger control and co-operations (e.g. joint venture and distribution agreements) as well as cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings. He also advises on matters of digital regulation (DMA) and represents clients during sector inquiries.

Heiner holds a law degree from Germany’s top-ranked Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. He has a particular expertise in antitrust economics and holds a Master of Science in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
