Counsel

Bettina has extensive experience in all areas of individual and collective employment law. Bettina advises German and international companies in particular on complex legal issues relating to collective bargaining and industrial action, reorganisations and restructurings and associated staff reduction measures.

She also represents companies in proceedings before labour courts of all instances leading to a judgment or an order. Another specialist field on which Bettina focuses comprises advising on all aspects of deploying external staff.

Bettina works with German and international clients, with a focus on the transport and logistics industry.

Experience

Representative matters

Logistics company on investigations regarding illegal labour leasing with potential fines of up to several EUR 100 million.

Restructuring of a logistic operation including TUPE and change of several employees to working from home.

Advise and several court proceedings regarding challenges of works council elections within a group of companies.

Advise and several court proceedings for a transport company in connection with reference clauses in the employment contract and the consequences of subsequent changes regarding the trade unions concluding CBAs with the company.
