Jane has extensive experience across international arbitration, regulatory investigation, debt restructurings and recovery, and regulatory compliance and has been named as a leading individual by major legal directories in all these areas.

Having worked in banking, capital markets, derivatives, regulatory compliance and disputes in the firm for major international and Chinese financial institutions and corporates alike, Jane is uniquely equipped to find solutions across multiple disciplines and her board room presence often places her as a strategic advisor on complex issues concerning China. Jane is praised by clients as an “amazing lawyer” and “the go-to advisor on PRC law matters” due to her “technical wizardry” and “client skills”.

Jane’s sensitivity to geopolitical dynamics and culture differences is a great asset in the resolution of issues and disputes with a Chinese nexus for multinational companies. Her views on China’s legal and regulatory development are often sought by the C-suite of the largest corporates and financial institutions of the world.

Jane is fully bilingual in Chinese and English. She is qualified in England and Wales and has worked in the firm’s Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing offices.
