Vicki is Co-Managing Partner of Greater China and Managing Partner of Hong Kong, and a member of the Executive Committee.

She has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee since its inception in 2017. She has expertise in a broad range of banking and finance transactions throughout Asia Pacific. She has acted for banks and funds on a variety of structured debt financings, including acquisition finance transactions and hybrid debt and equity products such as pre-IPO financings and other forms of equity-backed financings. She also has experience advising on debt restructuring and has advised private equity funds and investments banks on distressed debt opportunities.

She is highly ranked in the leading legal directories ("Vicki Liu is hands-on and provides practical and innovative advice to her clients. Perfect engagement with her clients and counterparties." - 'Hall of Fame', Legal 500, 2024; 18 years ranked in Chambers); and has also received industry recognition for her leadership roles (including Managing Partner of the Year at the 2021 ALB Women in Law Awards and the FT Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyer Award in 2020.)
