Sinead O'Connor

Sinead is responsible for leading some 60 plus lawyers in the handling of legal work for Allen & Overy’s global dispute and investigation practice groups including: commercial litigation, investigations, employment, arbitration and intellectual property. Sinead supervises and coordinates large scale disclosure and fact finding reviews, chronologies, privilege logs, legal research, preparation of witness statements and expert due diligence.

The main focus of Sinead’s day to day practice is supporting Allen & Overy’s US offices, particularly New York, Boston and Washington DC in investigations and litigation. Sinead is also responsible for the management of our Scientific and Technical Analyst (STA) team who are a team of ten PhD qualified scientists across life sciences and TMT, handling technical and scientific and subject matter in disputes, with a particular focus on patent litigation.

Sinead is admitted to the New York Bar and spent almost ten years in New York as a litigator, prior to joining Allen & Overy in 2016.

Sinead has worked for a wide range of private and commercial clients in a broad range of matters including: products liability, breach of contract, medical malpractice, commercial property damage, natural disasters and premises liability.
