Simon is a partner in our Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure group based in New York. He specializes in advising private equity funds and other sponsors in their energy and infrastructure investments in the Americas.

Prior to joining A&O, Simon was Deputy General Counsel at an international company focused on developing power generation projects and operating a portfolio of over 30 thermal, wind, hydro and solar power plants. In addition to his current focus on infrastructure deals, Simon has broad cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets experience. Simon has lived and worked in Latin America and Europe over several years and is fluent in Spanish and French, with functional Portuguese.

In 2004-05, Simon was a law clerk to Chief Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia.
