  Richard Hough

Richard advises companies and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate transactions including public takeovers, private company acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, group reorganisations and capital raisings.

Between 1994 and 1996, he was seconded to the London Stock Exchange as a regulatory adviser in the Listing Department, responsible for the regulation of numerous IPOs and secondary issues.

Between 2000 and 2002, he was seconded to the Takeover Panel as a Joint Secretary. During this period, he was responsible for the regulation of a significant number of public bids, both hostile and recommended, as well as developing the relationship between the Panel and the Financial Services Authority.
