  Rachel Reeves



Rachel is an experienced employment lawyer in the full range of contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises clients across many sectors including financial services, Employment Tribunal matters, reorganisations, service agreements, senior terminations, remuneration, discrimination and equal pay.

For more than ten years at RBS she had responsibility for employment law, policy, and industrial and employee relations across global businesses and provided a strategic advisory function at both group and divisional level on cross-border projects, remuneration disputes, high profile regulatory matters, litigation and mediations. She regularly provided advice to the bank’s board on high-profile reputational issues including bonus litigation, regulatory investigations and forfeiture under the group’s deferral plan.

Rachel has also worked as a Peerpoint consultant with Allen & Overy providing in-house legal support on partnership matters, conducting bespoke employment law training and advising on the implementation of the SMCR for a global bank, amongst other consultancy assignments. Most recently, Rachel worked in the public sector as HR Director at the Ministry of Justice with responsibility for Employee Relations, Policy and Reward.

Rachel re-joined Allen & Overy as Counsel in January 2018 and frequently educates client teams on dignity at work issues, including harassment and bullying.
