Mona advises on a variety of complex, often cross-border, disputes, with a special emphasis on banking litigation, fraud and asset tracing claims as well as trust litigation. In the latter context, she has substantial experience in advising banks and trustees, and in particular offshore trustees, in the co-ordination of trust litigation in several jurisdictions. Mona has acted in various claims in the High Court, relating to the finance sector, involving allegations of fraud, constructive trust and breach of fiduciary duty. She has also acted in international arbitrations concerning finance disputes and has experience of conducting internal inquiries and investigations for a number of corporate and banking clients.
Mona has been recognised as a leading individual in the major UK directories for a number of years for both banking litigation and civil fraud. In the 2012 edition of Chambers UK Mona is "singled out as 'incredibly bright, thorough and responsive'."
