Jonathan Brayne is a partner in London and has also worked as a partner in our New York and Hong Kong offices.
He is Chairman of Allen & Overy's India Group, its Innovation Panel and also of its affiliate, Derivative Services, which provides alternative solutions for legal risk management. Previously he was an elected member of the firm's Board and Chairman of its Global Banking group.
Jonathan practices in the field of energy and infrastructure projects. He has advised sponsors, financial institutions and governments. His experience covers the power, oil and gas, pipeline, petrochemicals, telecommunications, industrial plant, airport, road, satellite, aircraft, rail and shipping sectors. These transactions have often been located in high growth economies and have been supported by export credit agencies and multilateral institutions, including EBRD, EIB, IFC, OPIC, US Ex-Im Bank, Coface, ECGD, Hermes, JBIC, NEXI, SACE, China Exim and other such institutions.
He has also advised on tax structured and general banking transactions and on a wide range of capital markets instruments, both debt and equity.
