Jason is a project finance partner based in our Johannesburg office. He has expertise in all aspects of project finance, and has advised clients on limited recourse project financings (including energy, resources and infrastructure financings), public-private partnerships (PPPs), sovereign guarantees, partnerships and joint ventures, construction and operational contracts, power purchase agreements, procurement, syndicated and term loans, bond issues (including municipal debt) and securitisations (domestic and cross-border). He was commended on his growing practice representing both sponsor and borrower side clients on renewables projects. Jason is a ranked lawyer in Projects and Energy by Chambers Global from 2012–2016 and a leading lawyer in the areas of Banking and finance, Capital markets, energy and infrastructure, PPP/PFI, Project development, Project finance - IFLR1000 2016, Best Lawyer - Project Finance and Development Practice in 2016, Who's Who Legal 2013–2015 rates him as an expert in the area of project finance and Public Procurement, as well as a legal expert in Projects and Infrastructure on the Legal 500 from 2013–2015.
