Jason has acted on contentious and non-contentious intellectual property and IT matters. This includes advising BlackBerry before the High Court and the Court of Appeal and acting for Philips against Remington in the trade mark dispute which went to the Court of Justice.
Jason also advises on all aspects of gambling law. He has advised several banks on the risks and potential liabilities of financing online gambling activities. Corporate clients he has advised include micrograming.com, virgingames.com, and mansion.com.
Jason was seconded to BT for nine months where he helped negotiate key supplier contracts for BT's £10 billion 21st Century Network.
Jason has a particular interest in EU and international comparative law as well as English contract law.
Since its inception Jason has been a member of Allen & Overy's global sanctions interest group.
Jason has been selected for the London Super Lawyers for years 2013-15.
Recently, he set up Compact Contract www.aocompactcontract.com a brand new blog focused on English contract law and the most up to date news and cases.
