Jake Keaveny is a U.S. capital markets partner in our London office. He regularly represents investment banks, private equity firms and corporations, with a focus on leveraged transactions involving high yield debt offerings and commitment financing processes. Jake also regularly works on the syndicated loan side of transactions, as well as out-of-court debt restructurings, including debt exchange and tender offers.

He has been involved in some of Europe’s largest leveraged transactions in recent years and is consistently recognized as a leading practitioner in the high yield space (Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Chambers).

Prior to joining Allen & Overy Jake practiced in the leverage finance space for a major firm in New York.

Experience

Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and other initial purchasers on the offering of USD1,600m of 10.5% Senior Notes due 2027 and EUR1,400m of 8% Senior Notes due 2027 by Altice Luxembourg SA.

Deutsche Bank, HSBC, BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan and other initial purchasers in relation to the EUR1.4bn (equivalent) of Euro and Dollar senior notes in support of the public bid by Macquarie Infrastructure of TDC A/S, a publicly listed Danish telecommunications company.

Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and other initial purchasers on the offering of EUR465m 6% senior notes due 2026 in support of the acquisition of Techem by Partners Group.

Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, KKR Capital Markets, HSBC and other initial purchasers on the offering by Flora Food Group of USD525m and EUR685m senior notes due 2026 in support of the acquisition by KKR.

The mandated lead arrangers in relation to the EUR2.95bn first lien loan facilities in support of the acquisition by Hellman & Friedman LLC of Nets A/S, a publicly listed Danish payment services company.

Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and other arrangers on the EUR690m first lien and EUR167m second lien loan facilities in support of the acquisition by Platinum Equity Advisors LLC of the entities comprising the Wyndham Vacation Rentals Europe business, a European based holiday rentals business.

J.P. Morgan, BNP Paribas, Macquarie, Natwest and Santander on the offering by Empark of EUR350m 2.875% senior secured notes due 2024 and EUR125m senior secured floating rate notes due 2023.

Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs and other initial purchasers on the offering of EUR500m of 3.375% senior notes due 2024 by Intertrust N.V.

NatWest Markets, HSBC, J.P. Morgan and other initial purchasers on the offering by CenterParcs of GBP480m 4.250% secured notes due 2047 and GBP250m 4.875% secured notes due 2047.

HSBC, Goldman Sachs, RBS, and other initial purchasers on debt GBP250m of 4% senior secured notes due 2024 by Ocado, its debut high yield offering.
