David is Global Head of the International Capital Markets Group and is based in the securitisation group, which he headed from its creation in the early 1990s until 2006. He has advised on many of the leading securitisation transactions in Europe and has acted on several benchmark transactions in the areas of RMBS, CMBS, whole business and infrastructure.
David has worked on numerous landmark transactions over the past ten years, including the award-winning Tube Lines, Skynet 5 and Telereal transactions and the Broadgate, Madame Tussauds, Canary Wharf, Rank Hovis and OML deals. Over recent years he has focused primarily on government and central bank responses to the credit crisis.
David has been recognised as a leading lawyer by Chambers UK 2011 and Chambers Global 2011.
