Axel specialises in banking and financial transactions, with a particular focus on capital markets transactions, structured finance and financial regulation.
He advises both corporates as well as banks on a wide range of capital markets transactions and his expertise includes corporate bonds, equity-linked instruments, regulatory capital and liability management.
In addition, he regularly advises on structured finance transactions and portfolio sales.
Axel also has extensive experience in financial services regulation and advises financial institutions on various topics, including banking regulation, investment services and payment services. He is also an expert in ESG regulation and sustainable finance.
