The Czech Students Union, the largest network of student organisations in the Czech Republic, announced the results of a survey amongst students.
Allen & Overy was singled out by the students for its long term partnership in academic activities, organisation, and sponsorship of over several student competitions, training seminars, and open door events.
The presentation of TOP 10 Employers was held on Monday 20 February at the University of Economics in Prague. It announced votes of the highest achieving students in the fields of economics, law, engineering and medicine/pharmaceuticals. The TOP Employers project took part among students of Czech universities in autumn 2011. Among other winners were ČEZ, Apple, Ernst & Young, Vodafone, Ikea, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Česká spořitelna.
A total of 7,955 respondents participated in the survey. The project was organised in cooperation with universities, student organisations, and corporate partners. The aim of the project is to provide the academic world unique data on who are TOP employers and where students, future graduates, might apply for work.
Partner Jan Myška commented: "This is a great achievement, which demonstrates our long term investment and support of talent of the university students and positions Allen & Overy amongst other prestigious companies. We are especially happy that the best and brightest law students selected us as their dream future employer."
This is the first time such a survey has been conducted and it has attracted lot of press attention including in the prime time evening news on Czech television.
