International Comparative Legal Guide to: Lending & Secured Finance 2019

Allen & Overy was pleased to once again partner with the LSTA, the LMA, the APLMA and Global Legal Group on the seventh edition of the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Lending & Secured Finance. For the 2019 edition and second consecutive year, A&O contributed five chapters, covering updates from our U.S., European and African offices.

The guide covers common issues in lending and secured finance laws and regulations – including guarantees, collateral security, financial assistance, syndicated lending/agency/trustee/transfers and withholding, stamp and other taxes – across 54 jurisdictions. The chapters contributed by Allen & Overy to the 2019 edition include: “Cross-Border Loans – Recent Developments” by Judah Frogel and Jonathan Homer, “Commercial Lending in a Changing Global Regulatory Environment: 2019 and Beyond” by Bill Satchell and Elizabeth Leckie, and country-specific chapters including England by David Campbell and Oleg Khomenko, Italy by Stefano Sennhauser and Alessandra Pirozzolo and South Africa by Lionel Shawe and Lisa Botha.
