London client seminar: 2017 AGMs and developments in corporate reporting

A&O's London office will host a client breakfast briefing on "2017 AGMs and developments in corporate reporting" on 2 November 2016.

The seminar will be presented by London Corporate partners Richard Cranfield, Alun Eynon-Evans and Matt Townsend, Incentives partner Paul McCarthy, employment partner Sarah Henchoz, Tax partner Lydia Challen and ECM partner James Roe.

It will focus on institutional shareholder expectations for the 2017 AGM season, including dis-applications of pre-emption rights and the second main wave of remuneration policy approvals. It will also cover the anticipated impact of Brexit on the coming season’s annual reports and the increased reporting responsibilities of companies beyond the annual report, including modern slavery act statements, gender pay gap reporting, and tax strategy reporting. Finally, we will share thoughts on the EU Market Abuse Regulation’s operation since implementation.

The seminar qualifies for 1.5 CPD points.
