Ying-Peng Chin

Senior Knowledge Lawyer

Ying-Peng has legal expertise in sustainability-driven regulations. 

She produces thought leadership to engage with clients, drawing upon her familiarity with the latest trends and developments across key regulatory topics impacting on corporates and financial institutions.

The policy and regulatory developments that she tracks include: sustainability reporting and disclosure; transition planning and transition finance; supply chain due diligence regulations; carbon markets and carbon border adjustment mechanisms; and litigation and enforcement trends in the sustainability sphere.

Beyond UK and EU regulatory law, Ying-Peng engages with colleagues across A&O Shearman’s offices and specialisms to develop client-facing content that reflects a global, multi-disciplinary understanding of pertinent issues.

She is an experienced multi-specialist regulatory lawyer, having previously worked for over nine years at a leading international law firm in London where she advised clients on a broad range of regulatory and contentious matters, including multi-jurisdictional regulatory investigations, commercial litigation and sector-specific regulatory issues.
