Enrique advises leading national and major international private companies, funds and private equities, and public administrations in multiple sectors related to public law and regulatory matters such as energy, transports and infrastructures, foreign direct investment, defense, aviation, public procurement, environment and climate transition, planning and zoning, and TMT, as well as in matters related to technology. 

He has also been involved extensively in a wide range of domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, merger and acquisitions, due diligence processes, project finance, memorandums, consultations, advise regarding regulatory, administrative, ESG, regulated sectors industries, foreign direct investment procedures, and technology.

He has also practised in several administrative, sanctioning and contentious-administrative appeals before the Spanish, regional and local authorities.

Representative matters

Abu Dhabi Ports Group on the acquisition of 100 percent ownership of Noatum, a global integrated logistics platform with a presence in 26 countries, for EUR660m.

American Tower on the EUR7.7bn acquisition of Telxius Towers, comprising approximately 31,000 existing communications sites in Germany, Spain, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina, from Telefónica.

FCC in the sale of 25% of its environmental subsidiary to a Crown corporation for 1,000 million euros.

Mubadala on its disposal of a 30% stake in CEPSA to the Carlyle Group. The investment from Carlyle will enhance Cepsa's growth and provide opportunities in global energy sector.

Pro bono

Advising different probono matters in relation to administrative, regulatory and environmental aspects (v.gr. NGOs in the awarding of public grants, in the appeal for the definitive awarding of a public grant).

Advising World Bank Doing Business in the performance of administrative and energy annual publications related to Spain.
