She has advised UK and global industry bodies on legal and regulatory issues affecting the trade and commodity finance community, speaks frequently at international industry conferences and contributes to trade and commodity finance publications.

Representative matters

The trade finance lenders on the provision of USD300m new money facilities, combining a borrowing base facility, a margin line facility to support commodity hedging, and a trade instruments facility as part of the USD1.6bn restructuring of ED&F Man Group.

An automotive brand, the Swedish electric performance car brand, on a USD950m three-year loan facility provided by a syndicate of leading international banks. The financing provides Polestar with the funds it requires to finance the next stage of its development and covers a large majority of its estimated finance needs. This follows a EUR350m uncommitted green trade finance facility we advised them on previously to support the import of electric vehicles (EVs) into Europe and North America. 

The lenders on a USD1.1bn global borrowing base facility secured by various commodities, including carbon emission credits, held across Europe and the United States.

Brookfield-owned Greenergy Fuels, a leading producer and supplier of fuels, including waste-based biodiesel and renewables on the refinancing of its existing USD650m term and borrowing base facilities with a new financing package comprising a receivables purchase facility, and inventory monetisation framework and a new senior facilities agreement.

A multinational financial institution on a GBP450m sustainability-linked supply chain finance (SCF) programme. The first UK retailer to offer its supply base sustainability-linked supply chain finance.
