A&O further bolsters Asia-Pacific Funds & Asset Management group with new partner hire

Allen & Overy is further bolstering its Asia-Pacific Funds & Asset Management group with the appointment of Huaying Daisy Qi (Daisy), a partner based in the Shanghai office.

She is a highly recognised lawyer in the market, with extensive experience in advising Chinese and international clients on the formation and operation of domestic and international investment funds. She received her LL.B. and Master of Laws degrees from Peking University and her J.D. degree from Columbia University.

Daisy will join Allen & Overy’s market-leading global Funds & Asset Management group, which provides a full-service offering to fund managers and institutional investors. She will be working with clients active in venture capital, private equity and other alternative asset strategies, including real estate, credit and infrastructure.

Allen & Overy boasts asset management, tax, regulatory, litigation and dispute resolution professionals in all of the major financial centres across the UK, Europe, the U.S., the Middle East and the Asia?Pacific region, offering global coverage across the full fund life-cycle.
