Allen & Overy (A&O) litigation employment partner, Sarah Henchoz, has been awarded Human Leader of the Year Award 2023 at the TLC Lions Awards.

These awards recognise exceptional senior leaders, nominated by employees within their organisation, who have demonstrated a truly human approach in their work and use their position to pioneer and affect positive change across their organisation.

The judges called out Sarah’s ability to act as a catalyst to ensure colleagues can bring their whole selves to work – her colleagues describe her as a “superhero for all that she does to prioritise the people she works with and for”. She was recognised for role modelling this inclusive behaviour, setting a positive example from the top of the organisation, and making her team and colleagues feel a sense of belonging.

A&O prides itself on its inclusive and welcoming culture. In 2022, it was listed in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women for the fourth year in a row and has won numerous diversity and inclusion awards.
