Yvonne has a broad finance and transactional regulatory practice. Yvonne has extensive experience on a wide range of structured finance transactions including repackagings, total return swap structures, structured equity derivatives trades (including margin loans and collar financing), credit-enhanced bond structures, covered bonds and other asset-backed securities and structured securities for leading banks, investment houses and private capital houses. She has also advised on a wide range of OTC derivatives matters relating to ISDA and GMRA documentation (including close-out procedures and collateral structured arrangements). She has advised on OTC derivatives regulatory reform including margin for uncleared swaps, mandatory clearing and reporting as well as iBOR remediation in Hong Kong and other APAC jurisdictions.

In addition, Yvonne has experience in advising in relation to complaints of mis-selling regarding derivatives products and other derivatives disputes. On the regulatory front, Yvonne’s experience includes advising on disclosure of substantial shareholder interests and market misconduct in Hong Kong.
