Regina advises corporate trustees and agents on a wide range of debt capital market transactions, including standalone issues, MTN programmes, equity-linked products, repackagings and securitisations. 

Regina also advises facility agents, security agents and intercreditor agents on bank financing transactions including real estate financing, project financing and structured financing.

Regina’s practice also includes regularly advising corporate trustees on all post-issuance matters including defaults and restructurings, as well as amendments, waivers, consent processes, and tender and exchange offers.

Regina is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong.

Representative matters

A global financial institution as trustee and agent in relation to a restructuring by way of an English scheme of arrangement of USD4.96 billion of offshore bond debt issued by China Fortune Land Development Limited.

A global financial institution as trustee and agent in relation to the administration of Peking University Founder Group concerning over USD3 billion of issued offshore bond debt.

A global financial institution as trustee and agent on the $US3.3bn issuance of notes by C.H.M.T. Peaceful Development Asia Property to purchase The Center in Hong Kong.

A global financial institution as REIT trustee on the $HK3bn initial public offering of China Merchants Commercial REIT.

Pro bono

Working with the Centre for Refugees and Dignity Institute assisting asylum seekers and refugees seeking the right to work under the Director of Immigration’s discretion.
