Olivier advises clients on the full range of corporate (M&A) transactions, and is one of the leading advisers in the Netherlands on transactions involving public companies.
Olivier’s recent experience includes advising Royal DSM on its EUR25 bn cross-border merger of equals with Firmenich International, Prosus on its 2021 exchange offer to the Naspers shareholders, Euronext on the EUR4.3bn acquisition of the Borsa Italiana Group from London Stock Exchange Group, Infestos on its EUR 178 million take private of Neways and Wessanen on its EUR 885 million take private by the consortium of PAI partners and Charles Jobson. Olivier regularly publishes on public M&A and related topics, lectures in the ‘Grotius’ post-academic training programme for experienced lawyers and provides guest lectures at Utrecht University (the Netherlands).
 
In addition, Olivier advises clients on developments in the field of ESG / sustainability and building on his 2017 -2018 secondment to the firm’s Tokyo office regularly works on transactions with a link to Japan.

Atrium on the EUR 1.4bn by way of scheme of arrangement by Gazit Globe (2019).
Wessanen on the EUR 885m public takeover by a consortium of PAI and Charles Jobson (2019).
Saxo Bank on the EUR 424m public offer for all shares in BinckBank (2018).
