Matthias advises corporate clients, financial sponsors, banks and financial services providers on M&A transactions and complex, multi-jurisdictional reorganization projects.
He has extensive experience in advising on complex and cross-border M&A transactions (including auctions, bilateral transactions, joint ventures and exits) on both sell- and buy-side, as well as large and complex cross-border/multi-jurisdictional reorganisations, in particular in the banking, financial services and regulated industries but also in the mobility, technology and professional services sector. He also holds a Masters degree in Finance (MSc. Finance) providing additionally for a commercial and business-minded angle of his advice.

Avenga, an international IT service provider and consulting group and a portfolio company of Oaktree, on the acquisition of Ukrainian-based Perfectial Group. The deal focused on Ukraine and Malta and was negotiated and steered by us from Germany.
Banco Santander on the acquisition of assets of the European acquiring and issuing business from insolvent Wirecard group.
Converge Technology Solutions, a listed international IT solutions provider, on its European market entry and numerous M&A transactions in Germany.
House of HR, a leading European provider of specialized talent solutions and engineering and consulting provider, on numerous acquisitions in the German market.
